Biker blog 17 Vacation Great Falls, Mt.
228 Mi. two bikes
Long day we went 30 mi. out of the way to see the Lewis Clark caverns. That was $20 a 2 mi. walk lots of stairs and very much worth the time, effort and money. Dh had not been in a cave before. The tour guide did an excellent job. We learned a lot!
After that we had lunch at the park, then came on back to the main road. We had four lane roads the rest of the way. It was hot running we got sun burnt.
The water park at the KOA is awesome we had a blast in it doing the slide and soaking the in the hot tub and going back and forth between those too! =D It brought out the kid in us! (This is before we had grandkids.) They had a sunflower shower, and fountains galore it was neat just to hear the water as we sat beside the pool. There was banjo fiddle and guitar music in the evening, the showers here were the best we have had yet!
We came through town during rush hour traffic, some guy was gawking at dhs’ bike and rear ended the vehicle in front of him. Another town we were in was so small 2 bikes were a parade the kids all came out to see us!
We met a bike club and dh was ahead of me the did not wave at him but that all wave at me! I got a thumbs up earlier to =D
