7- 28 98 Trip to the park & neighbors wining
Bike show and Shine Trophy

I took Dh’s virago out for a spin this am in the cool of the morning it was wonderful. The breeze off the water was so-o nice and cool! I rode out by the park today followed some person really having a hard time keeping the cars between the lines in his lane. On my way home I stopped by the building supply store that was I’d not gone to that one on a motor cycle before. They open early so that was neat to get that done early in the A.M.

When I got home the neighbor gal came out to the fence packing as two and a half foot tall trophy that the won at a show–n-shine plus two hundred and fifty dollars. She was very pleased! The have a new Harley. She won about that much and a helmet the she sold at a really earlier this spring so they have a Sturgis fund for when they go next month she said.

Hells Gate State Park Lewiston Id.

Dh got off early so we both rode on his voyager, took it out for spin we rode out to Hell’s Gate state park and took a spin through there and then down to the new A&W fuel stop in town for a rot beer float, and burger for dinner. It was a super supper.

It was hot though it had gotten up to 101* earlier in the day but dropped a few degrees when we went for our spin. Heat from the road and the motor plus a hot wind did make it rather miserable. We were glad to get home to our aid conditioning! This is what we waited for all winter we keep telling ourselves.

Tooling around town

On my way to town twice yesterday I saw motorcycles all loaded up with gear at two different service stations heading out for Sturgis, South Dakota. Was two deer on our way to town to go out for diner. The sunset was beautiful. I saw on older couple each were driving their own Harley too. Bikes are out every where gathering up to go on rides together.
