Biker Blog June 98 week 2

Biker blog 6-10-98 1 bike 30 mi.

Yesterday I rode my motor cycle out to he park to charge up up my battery and enjoy the beautiful weather and the view of the river. I had to drive through some dirt that had been left there from the storm that came through Sunday. There was some road construction also and I drove in some more mud there too. I had to clean up my bike up when I got home.

6-15-98 Triangle rally
Last weekend was the triangle rally here. Three motor cycle clubs did it. This year somebody dropped the ball and there weren’t every many vendors at all. It was very disappointing. Last year there were gobs of them it was a lot better.

Installing Wood grain dash

We were in the motor cycle parade. We watched the goldwing motor cycle drill team we call the wings from Seattle. Every one enjoyed that! In the morning I helped dh install his wood grain dash on his bike. It was windy that did not help, the dash turned out great! It’s teak wood, and really dresses his bike up. It was exciting to get that I helped him and see it all come together was a joy! It's beautiful!

Sunday it was a gloriously gorgeous out we got Chinese take out and rode on his bike out to a park at Lenore a twenty min. ride from Lewiston. We drove across the Cherry lane bridge, a one lane wooden one bridge. We stopped and looked down at the river flowing under us.

We had a nice leisurely ride and a picnic. I even remembered the picnic table cloth! It was fun. We took the scenic route home, and stopped by a hardware store, I went to the book store next door to look for stuff to clean his new dash with. All in all it was a fabulous weekend we had a blast and it got over with too soon!

6-17-98 solo ride 30 mi.

I took a spin on my bike out to the park, blew the cobwebs off my bike and out of my brain on the way it was great! =D People were out at the beach, the park looked almost full. I saw two guys eating lunch on the tail gate of a pick-up at the gravel pit on the way home, they were just staring and gawking, I was snapping my pink wind breaker. I love to imagine them wishing they could be doing this and discussing it! =D

I taped and saw Biker Women, a show of four women who go to Sturgis S.D. We had seen in before but it was great to see it again very inspiring.

It is an awesome warm sunny day! I woke up excited when I saw how nice it was ‘cause I knew I’d get my bike out! My shoulder is better we were discussing our summer bike trip. There is still snow on top of the mountains in Montana. August should be warmer. Nevada was the other option. We went to the store fueled up my motor cycle and got an ingredient for making diner.

Sat. 6-20-98 New motor cycle trailer kit came

I got oil for dh’s bike today over town at the bike shop and stuff to clean his new wood grain dash with, and a blue ice chest to match his bike and trailer, also some chrome trim to go around his license plate holder it has lights on it. He took a couple of pictures of me on my motor cycle in the front driveway today.

It was beautiful and hot outside
clear blue skies a perfect day for riding!
