Free day Friday
Today is my free day no house work, I do my artists date, shop play and have fun. I’ve been making a conscious effort to slow down and savor my days off. No granny duty or car pool, I do not have to rush home my noon, and I can brose at the library, and the book shelves, and thrift shops.

I’ve been trying to spoil me, an extra cup of coffee in the mornings and a little more time playing on the net. Today was extra special because I’ve gotten chores nearly caught up and I did not have to work in the yard. I did get two coleus plants one for inside and one for outside.

I got some fabric one in a holiday print, and the other piece a fun sun bonnet Sue print, also some paints for crafts. I can’t wait to use these new supplies. I got a bag of lace at the thrift shop it’s great fun to trip the fabric gift bags with lace and ribbons.

I’m so excited I found a pie rack, I just need to get plates to put on it,
We can use it for parties receptions, tea parties, and more. I put up the link because it’s fun to cut finger sandwiches in shapes!

I found a footed bowl too it’s plastic but looks like glass, I don’t have to worry about breaking this one and it could be disposable if needed. I put the tomatoes in this for a bright spot on the kitchen counter.

I have used the pink paint, I’ve been painting tea trays to use for transporting and holding stuff at the wedding reception. I have a lavender one done already, and I’ll do a white one later but I need to get some more white paint. Painting is fun and relaxing for me. I also painted a small peg rack to go in the play house too. = D I love finding small things to go in it. The grand kids love it!
