Rain, Wind, Sun

Today it is windy it rained yesterday we had flooding in the area. I walked the dog around the block last night just after dinner time it was pouring down rain, a free shower for the dog and I had to change to dry clothes even with a rain coat and umbrella.  Today the sun is out and windy. Did the dishes first thing today.

I've been working on some paperwork, budgeting stuff, and trying to get some info. made a dreaded phone call with no results one number dialed wrong I think, the next one they hung up on me or routed that call wrong and the call dropped. Gr-r. Taking a break.

Got in the shower it does not feel like I have accomplished much, but journaling and planning done for today. I purged some pages in one of  my happy planner notes. getting ready for a fresh start in June the second half of the year.

I am considering my goals. I think a lot of folks are getting to the place of reset button. The grief and PTSD some have because of this cv - 19 cropping up we will need a time to heal and get past this season as we process emotions there has been loss for so many everyone has been effected. Changes will be made and choices, and ways for coping are many and some are new.

I listened to a lady preacher it was a video of a mother's day message and very powerful, reminding us of the special gift of praying through God has for women. That was Paula White Get Up Mama is the title. I have watched her for years. It was excellent. [She is now the president's pastor.]

Grands and school are interesting as they still have three weeks left for June. It is a joke dear grand daughter lost her packet contacted the teacher and the teacher said not to worry about it. I suspected it was just busy work seems that I was right.

I got the yard mowed both the front and back yard. Glad that it got dry enough to mow that was my exercise. I did get the dishes done. I am SO glad I made deviled eggs earlier in the week. It is like a gift I gave myself I have not had to cook as much. I did cook my dinner.

I learned one of the buffet places we like is opening in our town on the first of June. I am not sure if I am ready to dine out yet. But it is good to know they are reopening now that is encouraging.
