Dry Camping

Dry camping means you haul your own water in to camp with
This was not our first experience at this, but it was our first dry camp
trip with the new pull trailer, and it sure beats tenting it!

Dry camping last weekend was a great weekend fishing was awesome!
There was only one snake a brown snake not poisonous.
I caught the biggest fish a 10 lb. carp! (No I’m not miss spelling crap: carp is a type of fish we have here.) And we both caught our limit of bass I was using worms & a bobber. I found a hook and a jig, and a big spinner set up for steal head salmon dh can add that to his tackle box. My new pole works great! =D

I returned with a fresh perspective that I needed. I got some reading, sat by the river and did a few great sketches. I started a reading new book Lake House by James Paterson that I "m really enjoying.

got some notes together for a couple of pieces I'll be writing up ideas are percolating now for these! =D I like fishing because it helps me to put things back in perspective for me and the sound of the water is very soothing.

I have post camping chores to deal with here. The camper is cleaned out.
After we got back we went fishing again Sun. afternoon at a spot I’d had my eye on for a few weeks and caught my limit in less than an hour! =D A new record for me! Landed two other kinds of fish carp and swuaw fish dh claims is a young carp and the biggest fish again!
Dh had to come over and see what I was hollering about and then invaded my fishing hole! ;D
I can pick ‘em. I can’t wait for school to get out so I can take the grand kids fishing.

Before we left Sat. we spent quite a bit of time getting the camper ready
and did not get out of here as early as we had hoped at the campsite getting the fridge going was quite a challenge we did not bring a back up ice chest so we will be doing that in the future.

Dh (dear hubby) was working on getting the awning back up we had to put it out to dry it off, it rained Sunday morning. The awning was great for shade, and when it was pouring down rain the next day too. Sun. camping was not dry!

This is good because most of the camping stuff is back in place to use again this weekend. I forgot the cocoa that would have been great on the cooler rainy morning. So I’ll need to make sure we have this loaded. The camper will be reloaded by the end of the day and ready to use again by the end of the week.

Happy Trails!
