Bubble Day

It’s bubble day around here today, dear grand daughters are going to be having fun playing with bubbles, and getting wet in the sprinkler and playing in the kiddie pool now that the hot weather has arrived. And then we will be feeding the squirrels nuts later today and watch them scamper up the tree with them that is fun to see out the window as I type!

I’ve walked 2.5 mi. did that when I got up at 5:00 today, these cool early morning walks are a great time for me to think, pray and gather inspiration.

We got a lot done at the farm sharing with the grandchildren the fun
and they enjoyed the room to roam. We all seem to need that from time to time a little room to roam. I worked on pruning the small family orchard and the guys mowed dear hubby used the brush hog machine, dear son ran the riding mower. I did get a turn on it, some branches I trimmed off and put them in the trailer that can be pulled behind the mower or the 4-wheeler. Grandkids love to ride anything with wheels up there!

Dear Hubby decided to let me pick the spots where to fish,
when he picked this weekend we did not catch anything.
He loved the new reel I got for his ann. gift.
My new red reel and pole are working good I caugh a bass with it!
Killed the biggest hornet I've ever seen and used a stick to get it on the hook and the fish picked that hook clean!

Today on my goals list is to get a baby and new mom basket together.
Four a couple their first baby he is in his 50’s and she is in her twenties, much joy for this couple the first for both of them!

What I’m reading: A Good Yarn By Debbie Macomber
A link about the author link in blog entry post title. I’ll be savoring this one and reading some when we are on vacation this month.

I also picked up Family First by Dr. Phil from the book shelf
and I am reading in it where I left off from last time had it out.
